Fredag förra veckan flög jag till Qingdao för att göra ett återbesök på en fabrik. Efter cirka en timme med flyg från Shanghai landade jag klockan 9 och blev upphämtad med bil. Qingdao är en kuststad, som under OS var centralort för seglingarna. Därför bestämde politikerna att 2 år innan spelen skulle inga fabriker vara kvar i centrum, alla var tvunga att flytta till förmån för centrumutvecklingen. Något som gjorde många mark och fabrikägare rika från flyttstöd av staten.
Nu ligger alla fabrikerna ute i landsbyggden, fabriken jag besökte ca en timme från centrala Qingdao. Det byggs en 2 km lång bro från stan ut till landsbyggden över ett sund. Det visar utvecklingen i Kina bra, dom bygger en ny bro, och samtidigt under bron bygger dom tunnel som går under vattnet, detta för att separera lastbilstrafiken och biltrafiken.
Jag var bara på besök över dagen, och påväg tillbaka till flygplatsen dör bilen, visar sig att gamla Volkswagens fläktrem har gått, mitt på en gammal old school motorväg. Mycket lastbilar som folk kör om 2-3 på rad. När jag skulle ta fram min kamera från bagaget för att ta några bilder så kommer en stålprofil flygande från en omkörande lastbil och börjar glida mitt på motorvägen rakt mot mig. Efter kommande bilarar får vejja och tillslut lyckas vi ta bort grejen från vägen.
Efter en timmas väntan där på motorvägen kom mekaniker och bytte fläktremmen, 30 kronor kostade den utryckningen 
Och jag hann till flyget och landade kl. 20.00, lagom till invigningen av Shanghai EXPO.
